URBAN SCULPTURES

URBAN SCULPTURES

Contextualized within the surrounding community and urban spaces, ESKYIU created  a series of dynamic sculptures capturing three archetypal audiences of a neighbourhood in Causeway Bay. The dynamic and playful spirit spliced with diverse urban energy inspired interpretations and readings on the consumption of fashion, gastronomy, and living. In an ongoing investigation of body, movement, and space, these pieces reveal figures by slicing and representing its mass with interspersed solid and reflective materials. As one moves around the sculptures, solidity disappears from certain viewpoints, where in others new insights emerge.
